What is taught during music lessons?

We focus on three core principles when constructing lesson plans for students:

- Student Engagement with the Material
- Healthy Technique
- Strong Command of Musical Language (Theory & Harmony)

Lessons are a mix of theory and instrumental exploration.
We blend a high standard of music education with a creative approach to build confidence and long-lasting passion for learning music.

What are the qualifications of Arabesque instructors?

Our teachers are selected with a variety of factors. Firstly, all our teachers are seasoned educators who know how to guide and foster the interest of their students into a life-long passion. All our instructors are graduates of prestigious institutions such as Berklee College of Music, Juilliard, Eastman School of Music and many others. In addition, our instructors often have an extraordinary professional track record in the arts, such as awards, scholarships, commercial success, and other aspects of career success in music.

Do you teach all ages?

We teach both adults and children from ages three and up.
Specialized early childhood music exposure and development is available from certified music therapists. We support students at all levels.

How often do students have music lessons?

This depends and is adjusted in accordance with the student's objectives.
Generally,  one lesson per week works well for casual learners while two or three lessons per week is recommended for students pursuing a strong and rapid command of instrument and theory skills.

In music: a passage or composition with fanciful ornamentation of the melody. It is also the name of a Ballet position.
We chose Arabesque in honor of the Schumann and Debussy masterpieces of the same name.
